Arimo, ID. Sidney Wesley Kent, 90, longtime Marsh Valley resident, passed away on Sunday December 22, 2019. Sid was the 5th of 8 children and born on December 6, 1929 in St. John, ID, son of Mabel Margaret and Wesley Sidney Kent. He was raised in Dairy Creek and Arimo and Graduated from Arimo High School. He married Gloria Smith in the Salt Lake City Temple on June 1, 1950. They made their home in Arimo. He was a farmer and rancher. He started farming at the age of 14 when his dad passed away. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He served on the Marsh Valley School Board, Arimo City Board, ASCS Board, and on the advisory committee for the First Bank and Trust in Malad, ID. He is survived by his wife and 5 children: Clifford (Melanie) Arimo; Vickie (Jeff) Gunter, McCammon; Connie (Lyle) Hansen, Delta, UT; Tammy Avery, McCammon; Brad (Lori) Arimo; and 26 grandchildren and multiple great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 sisters, 1 brother, 1 grandson, and 1 great grandson.  Funeral services will be on Monday, December 30, 2019 at 12 Noon at the Arimo LDS Stake Center in Arimo. Friends may visit with the family at the church on Sunday, December 29 from 7pm to 8pm and Monday, December 30 from 10:30am to 11:30am before the services. Burial will follow in the Arimo City Cemetery.
