Obituary
Sandy Kay John Braker, 57, passed away May 17, 2011, peacefully at her home in Samaria, Idaho.
She was born July 3, 1954 in Malad, Idaho. A daughter to Eldon and Merle John. She attended school in Malad.
The joy of her life, Owen, was born in May of 1969. She devoted her entire life to him and her animals, especially KJ and Fred, her dogs.
She was employed at Thiokol for many years. She lived in Ogden, Utah, Logan, Utah, and moved to Samaria in 1997. She loved Samaria and the country life.
Sandy is survived by her son, Owen; her father, Eldon (Jean) John; brother, Mark (JoLynn) John; Sister Wendy (Jim) Scalise, all of Malad; and many nieces and nephews.
Sandy was preceded in death by her mother, Merle; sister, Leslie; brother, Mike; and companion Gordon Thompson.
Funeral services will be held on Frday May 20, 2011 at 12 noon in the Horsley Funeral Home 132 W. 300 N. in Malad. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday evening at the funeral home from 6-8 pm and on Friday prior to services from 10:30-11:45 am.
