Reed E. Capell passed away April 3, 2014 in Pocatello, Idaho.
He was born on April 16, 1931 in Pocatello to Mathias and Lucille Capell. He was the 3rd of 7 children.
He was raised in Robin, Idaho on the family farm. On June 6, 1951 he married the love of his life, Nola Mae Myers. They were married for 54 years and was sealed in the temple on March 24, 2001. Nola preceded him in death in 2005.
Reed worked at the Pacific Fruit Express for over 30 years and took a medical retirement when he was 58.
Reed enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and anything to do with the outdoors. His pride and joy were his kids, grandkids and great grandkids.
He is survived by his children, Audrey Chandler, Inkom, Janice Briscoe, McCammon, Brian (Anna) Capell, Robin, and Brenda Capell, Pocatello. His grandchildren, Randy (Sarah) Chandler, Shaunna (Brent) Loveland, Shawn, Justin and Tiffini Briscoe, Ross (Nicole Hollenbeck) Capell, Jimmy (Andolina) O'Lexey, Lindsey (Wade) Michaelson, Lacy (Clinton) Nations, Amber (Nick Tarbet) Bayse, and 12 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Leola Sheppick, Belva Hansen, Norma (Jerry) Bullock, brother Loren (Diane) Capell and sister in law Rea Capell and sister-in-law Mary Capell.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nola, brothers, Paul and Leon, son-in-law James Chandler, and grandsons, Zane Frasure and Tanner Briscoe.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at 11:00 am in the McCammon LDS Stake Chapel.  Friends may visit with the family at the church Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm and on Thursday from 9:30-10:30 am prior to the service.  Arrangements are under the care and direction of Horsley's Marsh Valley Funeral Home 254-3786.  You may send condolences to www.horsleyfuneralhome.com
