Obituary

Ray Lamont Hofhine, 80, of Stone, Idaho died in his home on Tuesday
morning the 2nd of February. He was born September 5, 1935 in Pocatello Idaho to Deo Hofhine and Minnie Bentley Hofhine
Ray married Joann Rasmussen on January 16, 1956 in Salt Lake City,
Utah. Ray was a member of the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter day Saints.
He served in the Navy and was a long haul truck driver for over 30
years. Ray was a farm boy at heart and loved to be in the country whether on
a tractor or riding a horse. He loved his family, dogs and horses and enjoyed
hunting, fishing and farming.
Ray is survived by his wife, Joann in Stone, Idaho, his sons Daniel
Ray, Mark Steven, Clearfield, Utah
James D Rupert, Idaho and Andrew Wade Hofhine Stone, Idaho. Eleven
grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren
three sisters and two brothers Faye Lorraine Bergfeld, Pocatello,
Idaho Dale D. Chubbach Idaho, Ellis Eugene Portland, Oregon,
Linda Mae Gilbert ,West Valley, Utah and Vonda Gaye Flanders,
Holiday, Utah
He was preceded in death by two sons. Clay Warren and Timothy Joe
Hofhine.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 6, (NOTICE TIME CHANGE) at 12:00 noon in the Curlew LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may visit with the family Saturday morning from 10:00 to 11:45 prior to the service. Burial will be in the Snowville Cemetery.
