Neva was born July 14, 1928, the 12th child of Rachel and Carl Illum, in Malad Idaho. She passed away at the age of 96 on February 1, 2025, in Cottonwood Heights, Utah.

She was a devout member of the LDS church and made many friends there that loved and helped her throughout the years. She also served a mission in North Carolina after retirement.

Neva loved playing Pinochle, camping and fishing, and in later years created many pieces of art.

Neva is survived by her sons Blair (Karin), Mike (Joann), and her daughter Nancy Davis. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her 11 siblings and her sons Kim and Gordon.

Our family would like to give special thanks to the medical staff team at the Coventry and also Ability Home Healthcare and Hospice for the wonderful care they gave our mother.

A visitation will be held at Horsley Funeral Home in Malad, Idaho on Thursday, February 6th at 11 A.M., anyone is welcome to come and share memories or offer a prayer. Burial will follow at 12 noon in the St John Cemetery, west of Malad.
