Mona's journey came to a peaceful end as she passed away from advanced dementia.

Mona was born in Twin Falls ID to Frances May (Valline) Herrick & William Lester Herrick.

Mona was raised by Frances & Fred John Wegner after her fathers death in 1940. Mona

was the eldest of 5 children, 2 sisters Mary & Esther and 2 brothers Fred & Stephen.

She graduated from Twin Falls High School and moved to Rockland ID shortly after.

Mona married Kenneth Doyle Russell Feb 11, 1956 in Rockland ID. They were later sealed

in the Logan Temple. Mona had 4 children, Doyle, Leland, Valline & Billy. She lived in Idaho

until settling in Brigham UT where she worked as a seamstress for several years before

working at Thiokol for 17 years after which she retired and enjoyed her time at home and

traveling. Her hobbies were her family and spending time with them. She was active in

her community and loved everyone in her ward family. Mona was preceded in death by

her parents, husband, and brother Fred. Survived by Doyle (Kaye), Leland, Valline & Billy.

Grandkids - Elsha & Kristopher Russell, Skylee Spiers, Ethan (Beth) Bareng.

Great Grandkids - Kohen & Tatum Russell. We would like to thank Beehive Homes of Perry

& Integrity Hospice for their wonderful care and love for Mona.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 12 noon in the American Falls Stake Center, 111 Church Place. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday from 7-8p.m. in the Brigham City 14th Ward Chapel, 650 Anderson Dr. and Friday in A.F. from 10:30-11:30 a.m. prior to the service.
