Obituary

Merle Jean Hess Marble 83 passed away peacefully at her home on May 28, 2017

She was born on March 10, 1934 in Plymouth Utah and was the daughter of Merle and Georgina Hess and was raised in Plymouth and Garland Utah

Merle Jean married Charley Ray Marble on November 9, 1951 in Malad Idaho , and the marriage was later solemized in the Logan Temple in Logan Utah. They made their home in Ogden Utah where she worked for the Postal Service until she retired.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where she held several callings one of them being Homemaking Leader which she enjoyed the most.

She is survived by 6 children Fonnie Miller of Malad, Charley Marble Jr of Nevada, Tracy Marble (Trish) of Malad, Mike Marble of Wyoming, Cindy Mellon (Bill) of Blackfoot and Carelyn Marble of Franklin

She was preceded in death by her parents Merle and Georgina Hess, 2 sisters Bea McNeil, Gaylene Goodrich, her brother Deloy Hess
her husband Charley Ray Marble, and a grandson Shane Marble

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 6 at 12 noon in the Malad 3rd Ward, 400 N. 200 W. Friends may visit with the family at the Horsley Funeral Home, 132 W 300 N on Monday from 7-8 p.m. and Tuesday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Burial will follow in the Malad City Cemetery
