Obituary

Max Wengreen Hall of Lava Hot Springs, Idaho passed away May 1st, 2018 at the age of 69. He lived with multiple sclerosis for 20 plus years as well as other health issues. He was born on February 8th, 1949 in Pocatello, Idaho, Bannock County to Eldrid Leo Hall and Genevieve Wengreen Hall. He had two previous marriages with Karen Wheatly and Mary Steiner. He then found the love of his life Jannie RJ. Wheat Hall, whom he shared 18 special years with on the farm.
Max attended Rick's College after High School. He was a farmer and he also worked many other jobs throughout his life, he and his brother had a pipe fitting business they owned at one time. He also had a shared business at the Lazy-A- where he entertained. People traveled from everywhere to hear him sing. He entertained for many weddings and funerals as well. For a short time he was in the Army National Guard, he had an honorable discharge due to his father's poor health. Max needed to be home to run the farm.
Max had a voice like no other. Max and Jannie enjoyed sharing his love for singing together. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He had many callings and served as young men's president. He loved his calling. Max had a gift for making friends quickly and for touching your heart the moment you met him.
He once was a member of the Lions Club and has done a lot of service for the community.
He had a love for hunting and fishing. He had a great knowledge of farming that he truly loved. He enjoyed his time with family and friend. He was a great storyteller and enjoyed sharing his jokes. Max had a wonderful personality. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his loving and caring wife Jannie Hall, his children Travis(Stacey), Jason , Erica (Ty) Bazil, Joshua (Amanda) Hall, all of Idaho, his step-children Janie Jo (Clint), Madsen and Candice Jane Archuleta, Melissa Durant Archuleta (Casey) all of Utah.
He is preceded in death by a daughter Natalie Hall Gunter, his step son Casey David Archuleta, two brothers Leroy Eldrid Hall and Ronald Dean Hall, one granddaughter and his parents.
Funeral services will be on Thursday at 12 noon in the McCammon LDS Stake Center. Friends may visit with the family for one hour prior to the funeral.
