Obituary
Our precious mother, grandmother & great-grandmother Marguerite Wood Pierce passed away March 8, 2009 from incident to age with her family by her side.
She was born Dec. 27th, 1916 in Blackfoot Idaho to William & Henrietta Wood. By the time mother was 4 years old both of her parents had passed away. She was raised by Fenley & Ella Merrell in Malad Idaho. She married James D. Pierce September 15th 1937 in Malad Idaho. They had a farm in St. John Idaho then later moved to Provo Utah where she worked and retired at Utah Valley Hospital.
She is survived by her daughter Diane Bowen (George), 5 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren & 7 great great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death is her husband Jim, daughter Sandra Jones, infant daughter Joan, grandson Derk Jones, 4 parents and 5 brothers and sisters.
Services will be held March 12th 2009 at 12:00 pm at Horsley Funeral Home in Malad Idaho. Viewing 1 hour prior.
Interment, St. John Cemetery.
