Franklin, ID...Margret Elizabeth Dudley, 69, longtime Franklin resident, passed away on Friday, June 17, 2016 following a long illness. Marge was born on January 21, 1947 in Manchester, Connecticut, a daughter of Thomas & Iona (Burleigh) Hassett.
Marge was raised and educated in Manchester. She married Richard Dudley on May 19, 1981 in Las Vegas, NV. They made their home in Franklin, Idaho. She worked at Pepridge Farms in Richmond, UT until retiring. Richard passed away August 16, 2013. She became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of LAtter Day Saints and decided to go through the temple for herself and also did the work for her mother and husband about 3 years ago. She enjoyed doing church activities, going on bowling tournaments, and especialy doing things with all her grandkids and great grandkids. Marge will be missed by all her friends and family.
Margret is survived by her four children: Damas Hassett of Franklin; Lana (Darren) Tripp of Malad; Dave Gattone of Franklin; Donnie (Tiffany) Lleurance of Preston, Idaho; two brothers; Buzzy (Janet) Fredrickson, Florida; Carl (Arlene) Fredrickson of Hartford, Connecticut. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 23 at 11 am in the Franklin 1st ward chapel. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday morning from 9:30-10:45am prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Malad City Cemetery at 2:00 pm.
