Marcos Gil
Arimo, ID - Marcos Gil, 17, passed away Saturday, April 28,2018 in tragic drowning accident.
He was born in Pocatello, ID, son of Margarito A. Gil and Silvia Gil. He was raised in Arimo,
and was attending Marsh Valley High School as a sophomore. He was very well known for his
smile, his willingness to do anything for anyone and putting other people's needs first. Marcos
loved playing sports, he played football, church ball, but what he loved most was baseball.
Marcos will be missed by all his loved ones, he will never be forgotten for the hero that he is. He
is survived by his parents Silvia Gil, and Margarito A. Gil, his siblings Tayde Gil of Blackfoot,
ID, Vianey Gil of Arimo, ID, Lindsay Gil of Twin Falls, ID, Alicia, Leticia, and Cecilia Vasquez
of Arimo, ID, Jose M. Gil of Twin Falls, ID and Luis Gil of Mexico.
Funeral services will be on Saturday at 12 noon in the St Nicholas Catholic Church in Rupert with a viewing for one hour before. Other viewings will be held Thursday from 6-8 at the Arimo Stake Center and Friday from 6-8 at the St. Nicholas Church.
