Obituary

Malad...Lucilla Mae Evans, 80. Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Nov. 26, 2019 after a long illness.

She was born and raised in Deweyville, UT on August 4, 1939 to Henry and Arthila Marble. She graduated from Bear River High School. On July 7, 1961, she married Robert Henry Evans in the Logan temple. They made their home in Malad where they raised 4 wonderful children.

She retired from the Farm Service Agency after 25 years of service. She enjoyed working with all of the farmers from throughout the valley. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in the primary for many years and as ward librarian.

She was the sweetest and kindest person and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She was devoted to her family and loved to spend time with all of her grandkids and great grandkids. She enjoyed her flowers and bird watching.

She is survived by her children: Alan (Sandy) Evans, Malad, ID; Susan (Kay) Cox, Smoot, WY; Teresa Evans, Layton, UT; JoAnn ( Ryan) Rohleder, Clarkston, UT; Her siblings: Steve ( Janet) Marble, Deweyville, UT; Beva Marble, Deweyville, UT; Mary (Reed) Summers, Tremonton, UT; 17 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband Robert and 1 great granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held at the old stake center 400 N. 200 W. Malad, ID. Dec 2 at 12:00. There will be a viewing Dec. 1 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and 10:30 to 11:30 preceding the funeral. Burial will follow in the Malad City Cemetery.
