LuWana Jeane LaRue passed away Sunday January 29th 2023 at the Monte Vista Care Center in Pocatello, Bannock County, Idaho. She was the wife of the late Rodney Clair LaRue and they resided in Holbrook, Idaho.

LuWana was born February 23, 1946 to Edward C. & Ruth Anderson Michelli of Brigham City, Utah. She had 3 siblings: Laron Edward (Much).Michelli, Mary Ann (Dagsen) McBride, and Joseph H. Michelli. She was raised in the Corrine/Brigham area.

She married Rodney Clair LaRue February 22, 1975 and helped raise his children and fostered others. She worked hard throughout her life; some of the places she was employed at were a Shell Shock center, Brigham Woolen Mills, and Lazy Boy factory. A very talented lady who shared her love of crocheting and beadwork with others.

She is survived by a brother Joseph Michelli, a son Dakota LaRue (Boise), step sons Michael LaRue (Germany), Wade LaRue (California), Brett LaRue (Nevada) & step daughter Julie LaRue (Nevada) along with various grandchildren.

LuWana will be laid to rest next to her husband Rodney at the Holbrook, Idaho Cemetery Monday, February 13th, 2023 at 1 PM following graveside services.
