Linda Ray Avondet Griggs

Malad, Idaho. Linda Ray Avondet Griggs, 77 long time resident of Oneida county, passed away Monday August 26th, 2024. Linda was born October 29th, 1946, in Ogden, Utah, daughter of Twila May Rakes and Lyman John Avondet. She was raised in Huntsville, Utah. She attended Valley elementary and junior high, then attended Ogden High School.

She married Ronald Lee Griggs in 1964, they made their home in Ogden, Utah then later Malad, Idaho. Ron passed December 8th, 2011. Linda was a homebody and didn't venture out often but when she did she was a soul to remember, she will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

She is survived by her two sons: Dustin, (Melissa) Griggs of Honeyville, Utah. Jason, (Nicole) Griggs of Malad, Idaho. Seven grandchildren: Roni Griggs, Corbin Griggs , Kannon, Nivek, Taia, Arissa, and Karlee. Two great-grandchildren Lilli and Lila. A sister Sherry Wright (Don Moore). Brother Richard L. and stepbrother David Osentowski. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ronald and son Corey.
