Malad.....Khalil P. "KP" Thomas, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend passed away peacefully at 8:30 pm on August 16th, 2012. He was born in St. John, ID, February 26th, 1924, the son of Peter and Cina Thomas, and married Julia Jones on December 2nd, 1950. Khalil graduated from the University of Oregon with a Doctor of Medical Dentistry (DMD) in 1958. He lived with his family in Las Vegas for 50 years. He was an avid golfer, generous, responsible, and full of integrity. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 56 years, Julia Thomas, and his brother Garth Thomas. He is survived by his sisters Helen and twin Kathryn, children Larry (Karen), Cina (Miles), Joe (Mickeleen); grandchildren, Eric, Cina, John, Alec, Kendall, Paige, Nels, Lennon, Matt, Julia; and great-grandchildren, Cody, Kellin, Cash, Jacqueline, Cannon, Cora Lane. He was loved by his family and will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at 12 noon in the Horsley Funeral Home, 132 W 300 N. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday morning from 10:30-11:45a.m. at the funeral home prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Malad City Cemetery.
