Obituary

Joyolin Jepsen Henderson. 89 passed away Friday, February 7, 2020 at her home in Swan lake Idaho.
She was born October 4, 1930 in mink creek, Idaho.  A daughter of Thomas and Anna Christena Christensen. She grew up in Mink creek until she was 16, then they moved to Preston where she went to high school. There she met Calvin Henderson..they graduated from Preston high school in 1948 and later married on February 14, 1949.
They moved to Swan Lake where they grew up together farming and raising their family.
Mom started another full time job at the age of 47 when she went to work for Presto Products, in Lewiston, Utah for a couple of years, but lasted 20. There she met and made long time friends.
She had many church callings from primary to stake positions and enjoyed the youth!
She is survived by her children; Roy & Tammie Henderson, Downey ID, Carol & Blair Porter, Preston ID, Janice & Van Cooper St Anthony, ID, Monte & Jennifer Henderson Swan lake, ID, and her brother Lafe Jepsen, Preston, ID. She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin, a daughter Annette,and her daughter-in-law Linda.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 14, 2020 at 12 noon in the Swan Lake LDS Chapel. Friends may visit with the family at the church on Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. and Friday morning from 10:30-11:30 a.m. prior to the services.  Burial will follow in the Swan Lake Cemetery.
