Janice Rose Thomas Colson, age 74, passed away August, 13, 2012 in St. George, UT. She was born Feb. 18, 1938 in Malad, ID to Henry E. and Pearl W. Thomas, the youngest of six children.
On Sept. 19, 1959, she married Robert E. Colson in the Logan LDS Temple. She was a graduate of Utah State University (1960) with a degree in Accounting.
Survivors include her husband, Robert E. Colson, St. George, UT, children Robert W., Branford, CT, Thomas (Tristan), Sunnyvale, CA, Sue Schoonover, Modesto, CA, and Jan (Victor) Bryson, Sahuarita, AZ, brother B.L. (Kathryn) Thomas, Salt Lake City, UT, sister-in-law Helen Thomas, Providence, UT, and nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one sister.
Funeral Services will be held at the Horsley Funeral Home, 132 West 300 North Malad City, Idaho, on August 18, 2012 at 12 Noon with a viewing from 10:30 to 11:45. Burial will follow in the Malad City Cemetery.
