Obituary

James T. Supan Jr. passed away Monday, April 9th at his home in Malad City, Idaho. He was born May 16th, 1935 in Tremonton, Utah. He was the son of James T. Supan Sr. and Ione Conger Larsen. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Grace Earl Supan, his four children Shuril (Marona) Supan, Melody Valentine, Jimmy (Pat) Supan, and Joy Supan, his three brothers, Charles (Chuck) Larsen, Wayne Larsen, and Bill Larsen, two sisters Joanie Black and Diane Courtney, ten grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sisters Janice Anderson, Kathleen Trigger, and his brother Vincent Supan.
Jim married the love of his life Grace Emma Earl on February 11th, 1956 and together they had four children. Jim was a Vietnam Veteran and contributed 10 years in the Navy to serve his country. He then worked at Thiokol ATK for 22 years as a firefighter. Upon his retirement from Thikol, Jim was a jack of all trades dabbling in various adventures. He was a supreme fix-it man that could fix anything. If it was broke, Jim could fix it, and was always busy and on the move. He loved hunting with his brothers and sons. He also loved traveling with his wife to the sunny weather of Arizona and California each winter to escape the bitter cold of Utah and Idaho.
