Ida Mae (Edwards) Olson our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend passed away on June 13, 2013. Born September 15, 1928 in Downey, Idaho, the 5th child to Chester and Mary Leigh Edwards. She grew up on the family cattle ranch, attended Downey High School, and loved to sing in the choir. She married the love of her life, Alfred Olson on August 30, 1944 in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. She loved spending time with her family vacationing at Redfish Lake, Idaho.

Preceeded in death by her parents and her siblings, Ella Housner, Mary Petersen, Chet Edwards, and Joe Edwards. She is survived by her husband, Alfred (Twin Falls Idaho), daughter Marsha Szarek (Scappoose, Oregon), and son's A. Craig (Cathy) Olson (Boise, Idaho) and Rick (Reina) Olson (North Ogden, Utah), 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday June 18, 2013 at the Horsley Funeral Home at 12 noon, 132 West 300 North, Malad, Idaho . Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home from 10:30-11:45 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be at the Malad Cemetery.
