Gerald Dee Bowman was born April 17,1949 in Pocatello Idaho to Even Webster Bowman and Lucille Pearl Sanders Bowman, he was one of seven children, 4 girls and 3 boys. He was always with his brother Lonnie when younger. He grew up in Pocatello Idaho and attended Pocatello High School before getting married to Ethel Catheryn Archibald on July 26, 1968. They had 4 children Jerry, Georgia Ann, Paula, and Andy. They lived in Downey Idaho and raised there children there.
Gerald was proceeded in death by his daughter Georgia Ann and his son Jerry, and is survived by his wife Catheryn, daughter Paula, and his son Andy and 5 grandchilren.
His happiest times and hobbies were spending time with his family going hunting and fishing. working with metal and fabricating things and teaching his boys how to make things. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 2 at 1:00 p.m. in the Virginia LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may visit with the family at the church from 12 noon - 12:45 p.m. prior to the service.
