Ogden...Darwin Eric Richard Dayton, 36, of Ogden, UT died at his home, on March 10th, 2013. Eric was born January 17th 1977, in Ogden to Darwin E and Deana M Dayton, Malad ID. He married Eko M Madalena, April 19, 2008 in Ogden, UT. Eric is survived by his wife, Eko; parents, Darwin and Deana; daughters, Denika Dawn and Patience Annabelle, Dayton, Ogden, UT, Mikayla Crivello, Brigham City, UT & Grace Hanson, Caldwell, ID; sisters, Nadine A (Jeremy) Knodel, Derby, KS and Stacie A (Andrew) Most Las Vegas, NV; grandmothers, Bell Haddon, Malad city, ID, and Betty Dayton, Ogden, UT; nephews, Brian, Dayton, Nathan, Jeremy, Jax, Derby, KS, Damien, Atreyu, and niece Maryjane, Las Vegas, NV. Two special girls Erin and Autumn, St George UT. He is also survived by special brothers, Boyd, Jason, Cody, and Bryce and a special sister, Alexis. Many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Friends, he will never be forgotten. Darwin is preceded in death by his grandparents, Dee Dayton, Charles Haddon, and Barbara Bell. Darwin loved to play guitar and make music. He was a member of the Canyon Road Assembly of God. Eric worked alongside his Dad at Darwin Dayton Construction Co, Malad city, ID for many years.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 18 at 3:00 p.m. at the Horsley Funeral Home, 132 W. 300 N. in Malad, Idaho. Friends may visit with the family on Monday from 2:00-3:00p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Horsley Funeral Home.
