Eric John Christiansen left this life to be with his family on the other side of the veil on July 23 ^rd , 2018.

Eric was born in Preston, Id to John & Lena Christiansen. He went to grade school in Downey and graduated from Marsh Valley High School in 1962.

Eric & Dianne went to school together. They were married on Nov. 26 ^th 1963. They were sealed together for time and all eternity in the Logan Temple on Moms birthday, March 19 ^th , 2016.

Eric enjoyed his garden, hunting, a hard days work, and being in the mountains. He loved being with Dianne and his family. He loved his animals, which included several dogs over his life time. He was especially proud of their mules and horses.

Eric is survived by three sons. Scott (Tanna) of Soda Springs, Darryl (Sudie) Humburg of Soda Springs, Matt (Stephanie) of Ammon Id, Daughter in law Kathe Christiansen of Pocatello Id, 10 Grand kids, Shaela, Christopher, Deric, Mattisen, Taylie, Elijah, Michael, Bridger, Packer, and Jessica. 7 Great grand kids, Drayden, Rylan, Jarryn, Justin "Bobo", Justinea "Nae Nae" Deric JR, and Marlie Rey. 7 Brothers and Sisters, Modell (Bonnie) Arimo Id,  Sharlene (Bart) Turner, Preston Id, Rose Mary (Devier) Dudley of Jensen Ut, Kim (Emily) of Vernal Ut, Teri Jones of Bountiful Ut, Wade (Carol) of Mountain Home Id, and Amber (Gary) McKee of Garden City Ut; 2 Sister in laws Arleene Guenther of Ammon, Id, Denise (Craig) Byington of Helena Mt.

He was proceeded in death by his wife and eternaly companion Dianne Harris Christiansen. His Son Justin Eugene Christiansen, his parents John and Lena Christiansen, his father and mother in law Eugene and Lois Harris. His great grand kids Jeric Eugene and Dallas Leann Christiansen and his brother in law Ron Guenther.

Funeral services will be held on Friday July 27 ^th 2018 at 11am in Downey LDS Chapel. Friends may visit with the family on Friday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the services. Burial will follow in the Downey Cemetery.
