Malad, Idaho... Dorothy Oldland, 94 a resident of Pleasantview, passed away on Monday, July 15, 2024. Dorothy was born December 25, 1929, in Hamilton, Montana. She was the daughter of Ralph C. Gibbs and Ruth Waldron. She graduated from Malad High, after attending school in Tremonton and Ogden.

She married Stanley R. Oldland on December 14, 1957, in Salt Lake City. Stanley was in the Air Force, so they lived in Kansas and Washington. After that, they lived in Nevada and Utah. Then moved back to Malad in 2005.

She is survived by two children, Louvia Shannan and Ralph (Claudia) Oldland. Six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. One sister Lona Woolfe, Preston.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister and one granddaughter.

There will be a graveside service Friday July 26 at the Pleasantview Cemetery at 11:00 a.m.
