Danielle was born on January 23, 1979, in Rock Springs, Wyoming to Richard and Barbara Postlethwait. 

Growing up Danielle had a cheerful, loving, thoughtful and fun personality. Her parents described her as the peacemaker in their family.

She was very active and athletic as she participated in ballet, summer theater, basketball, track and field, and traveled competitively with her soccer team. She loved summer vacations with her family and spent time with her grandmother in West Virginia. Danielle was a beautiful girl in every sense of the word.

Danielle married her soul mate Aaron Avery on Feb1st, 2003. She quickly changed Aaron's name to "Ave". Together they lived in McCammon where they began their journey. Danielle was Aves best friend and took care of him thru his kidney failure including dialysis and two kidney transplants. She learned how to be a nurse and trained to do Aves home dialysis. Danielle was his rock and he couldn't be without her. Together they moved to Pocatello where they lived with their puppies. Danielle had a special gift with animals and they were her children. Ave and Danielle loved talking their very spoiled dogs for walks along with going to concerts together. She worked various jobs with her favorite working as a vet tech. Danielle was gifted with animals and undeniably the hardest worker setting the bar. Most recently she was employed with Fred Myers's as a meat cutter. She loved her family and liked to bring her niece Olea and nephew Solomon deals she found. As Ave reminded her often "There is no one else like you Danielle!"

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 7, 2026, at 11 a.m. at the Marsh Valley Funeral Home. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 10-11.
