Colleen Allen Anderson, 74, of Boise, passed away peacefully at home on 6/11/11. Colleen was born 2/1/37 to Ervin L. Allen and Josephine Colton Allen. She graduated from Malad High and married Art Anderson. From this union four children were born. They lived in the Salt Lake City area. They were later divorced. Colleen and her children moved to Malad where she worked for Thiokol for 15 years. She then moved to Boise to be near her children. She retired from Winco Corp. in 1999.
Colleen was a beautiful, independent woman. Her life was full of struggles and accomplishments, sadness and joy. She loved sunshine, music, laughter, and her dog Hattie. She was the best mother who loved her children deeply, and was a warm and caring grandmother. She touched many lives and she will be truly missed.
She is preceded in death by her mother and father, her granddaughter Nichole Marie Anderson, and her nephew, Gary Kim Allen.
She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, whom she loved dearly, Gary and Kathleen Allen of Malad. Her children Brad Anderson (Jodi) of Pocatello, Stacey Nelson (Terry) of Boise, David Anderson (Theresa) of Boise, Hutton Anderson (Brandi) of Boise, 12 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She will forever be in our hearts.
Graveside services were held at the Malad City Cemetery at 12:00 p.m. on 6/17/11
