Alice Beth Edwards, 75, longtime Malad resident, passed away on Sunday May 6, 2018, following a long illness. Alice was born on February 15, 1943 in Malad, Idaho, a daughter of Loyal and Nellie Leavitt Lewis. She was raised in Malad, where she attended and graduated from Malad High School. She married David Jerald Edwards on February 12, 1960.

Alice made her home in Malad, where she raised her family and worked on the farm. Later in life she started a career selling real estate. She was a faithful longtime member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and worked at the Brigham Temple.

Alice is survived her husband, David Jerald Edwards; daughter, Terri (Bob) Sorensen of Malad, Idaho; sons, Allen (Karren) Edwards of Malad, Idaho and Jerry Edwards of South Jordan, Utah; brother, Ned Lewis of Malad, Idaho; sisters, Joan Matthews of Portland, Oregon and Kay (Roger) McMasters of Lenore, Idaho. 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by her parents.

Funeral services for Alice will be held on Saturday May 12, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Malad LDS Stake Chapel, 1250 N. 1100 W. Malad, Idaho.  Viewings will be held on Friday evening, May 11, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and prior to the funeral service from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Horsley Funeral Home.  Burial will be at the Pleasantview Cemetery.
