Ada Gibbs, 88, passed away on Tuesday September 2, 2014 with her family at her side. Ada was born July 2, 1926 in Malad, a daughter of Earl and Ada Lusk. She is a graduate of Malad High School. Ada married Don Val Gibbs of Portage, Utah on January 1, 1947 and they made their home in Malad. Don passed away on July 30, 1996. Ada was preceded in death by her parents and a brother; Earl Ferrel Lusk. She is survived by her three sons; Don C. (Donna) Gibbs of Malad; Jim Gibbs of Malad; and Clayne (Leisa) Gibbs of Springville, Utah. 6 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Funeral services will be held on Saturday September 6, 2014 at 12 noon in the Horsley Funeral Home 132 W. 300 N. Malad. Friends may visit with the Gibbs family on Saturday prior to the service from 10:30-11:45 am. Burial will follow in the Malad City Cemetery.
